ABOUT C.A.T
College of Architecture Trivandrum is one of the largest architecture and design schools in Trivandrum situated in the capital city of the State of Kerala, India. The school which is popularly known as CAT was established in the year 2011 , as a privately owned stand-alone design institute exclusively for offering a full time Bachelor of Architecture program , with an intake of 120 students across three batches every year. With the introduction of the B Des course in 2019 , C.A.T has moved a step forward to being the first institute to start a full time bachelor of design program in the state.
CAT attracts students from all parts of Kerala and also from the nearby states and has over the years emerged as one of the most sought after institutions offering B Arch Course and B Des course in the self-financing sector. The institute is affiliated to A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technological University and has a well-defined and full-fledged curriculum approved by the Council of Architecture (COA) for the B Arch program and AICTE for the B Des program.
The college has ties with numerous international institutions and is deemed to be a global D-school for making positive change in the design of the built environment through creative and collaborative academic national and international engagements.
