Mr. Anantha Krishnan
Assistant Professor
Anantha Krishnan is an Industrial Designer working across UX, furniture, and material-driven practices.
A graduate of the National Institute of Design (2021), he moves fluidly between digital systems and hands-on making. He is passionate about working with wood, jewellery, and natural materials, and is particularly interested in the journey of making—from raw timber to objects that hold meaning in everyday life. His practice reflects a sensitivity to materials, process, and the human connection to crafted artifacts.
In teaching, he engages with material and process, design studios, form studies, ergonomics, UX, and service design. He encourages a hands-on, human-centred approach to design, guiding students to explore making as a thoughtful and reflective practice.
