ABOUT C.A.T

College of Architecture Trivandrum (C.A.T) is one of the largest architecture and design schools in South India, located in the capital city of Kerala, India. Established in 2011, C.A.T is a privately owned, stand-alone design institute exclusively offering a full-time Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) program, with an intake of 120 students across three batches each year. The introduction of the Bachelor of Design (B.Des) program in 2019 marked a major expansion in C.A.T’s academic offerings, positioning it as one of the first institutions in the state to launch a full-time design degree. In 2025, the college further broadened its scope by introducing the Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) program, with the first batch starting the same year.

C.A.T attracts students from all parts of Kerala as well as neighboring states, and over the years has emerged as one of the most sought-after self-financing institutions offering B.Arch, B.Des, and BMS programs. The institute is affiliated with APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University and follows a well-structured curriculum approved by the Council of Architecture (COA) for the B.Arch program and by AICTE for the B.Des and BMS programs.

The college has ties with numerous international institutions and is deemed to be a global D-school committed to driving positive change in the built environment through creative and collaborative academic engagements, both nationally and internationally.

“Work as hard as you can and then be happy in the knowledge you couldn’t have done any more.”
