Lekshmi is an architect and practitioner with her research interests in the urban scale, theories and future possibilities of design, which have consistently informed her writing and design work.

An alumna of C.A.T, Lekshmi pursued her interest in urban design by obtaining a master’s degree from CET, Trivandrum. Her teaching experience includes NATA coaching, and spans 5 years at CAT. As founder of LeAm designers and developers, her engagement with urban projects and entrepreneurship underscores a proactive approach to leveraging design as a tool for positive change and advancing the discourse on urban environments. She also holds roles in a solar company and writes about travel and the city.
