Reshmi is an architect and urban planner. Her interest lies in Urban Sustainability, GIS applications and Climate Sensitive Urbanism.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the National Institute of Technology Calicut. She holds a Master of Urban and Regional Planning degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, USA. She is currently pursuing her doctoral research at APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, focussing on urban heat inequities and disproportionate impacts of climate change on everyday life in the cities.
