Dr. Roshini Roy Festus

Roshini is an architect, art historian, a lover of stories, and consumer of popular culture passionate about learning, understanding, connecting the dots, sharing knowledge and helping people hone their observation, communication and critical thinking skills.
She graduated (B. Arch) from School of Architecture and Planning (SAP), Anna University, Chennai. Interested in interdisciplinary studies and broadening her understanding of the world, art and architecture, she did her Master’s in Art History from the National Museum Institute (NMI), New Delhi, and worked as a Research Assistant before pursuing her Ph.D. in art and architectural history at the Indian Institute of Heritage (IIH). Her thesis explores the macro- and micro-contexts and their connections to the art and architecture of English and British churches built in Madras from the 17th to mid-19th century CE.
