Bijey possesses a diverse academic and professional background. Her topics of interest include Flow studies, Systems thinking, Pedagogy, Behaviour studies and Design Management

After obtaining a B. Arch from TKMCE, Kollam, she gained valuable experience in architectural and interior design practices across India, Singapore, and Dubai. Bijey furthered her education by completing a Master’s in Design Management from Pratt Institute, New York. Since 2012, she has been a dedicated member of CAT’s teaching faculty, also serving as the Head of Department of Architecture from 2015 to 2021. Currently she is pursuing her PhD at Srishti, Bangalore. Outside academia, her interests encompass Philosophy, Writing, and Arts, shaping her holistic approach to education and research.
