Jayakumar is the founding Principal and Executive Director from 2011. With over twenty years of experience in the field and twenty-three years of academic experience, he has steered the college into a credible institute.

With an education background from IIT Kharagpur and the College of Engineering Trivandrum, his interest lies in creating strategies that connect technology, profession, and community. Jayakumar is actively involved in developing international academic collaboration and bringing Indian industries into academics are among the initiatives. He is a visionary, continuously tweaking academic practices to make education relevant for the 21st century.
